Mubasher: Vodafone Qatar on Tuesday reported a 31% year-on-year drop in its losses for the first nine months of 2017.

Losses decreased to QAR 182.2 million ($50.52 million) during the April - December period, compared to QAR 269.2 million ($74.64 million) in the same period a year earlier, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

Loss per share stood at QAR 0.22 for the first three quarters of 2017 versus QAR 0.32 for the year ended 31 March 2017.

Vodafone Qatar’s financial year has been changed from 31 March to 31 December, according to the statement.

During the last six months ended on 30 September 2017, losses trimmed 6.1% to QAR 153.5 million from QAR 163.5 million in the same period the previous year.
